How to get here  

The Lecce section of INFN is located within the Department of Mathematics e Physics “Ennio De Giorgi”, into the University campus Ecotekne of the University of Salento, in Strada Provinciale per Arnesano – 73100 Lecce.

 

By plane

The nearest airports to Lecce are Brindisi Casale and Bari Palese.

From Brindisi Airport take the bus Sita to Lecce. You can buy the ticket either at the airport or on the bus. The bus stops at the entrance of the city, close to the City Terminal (Piazzale C. Bene – ex Foro Boario). Alternatively, it is possible to rent a car, to take a taxi, or to book a shared taxi.

From Bari Airport you can take a train or bus of the Ferrovie del Nord Barese towards Bari Central Railway Station Centrale and from there take a train to Lecce. Otherwise, it is possible to rent a car or to take a taxi.

 

By car

From Bari, follow the directions to Brindisi, and then to Lecce. Approaching the city, take the first exit of Tangenziale Ovest towards Gallipoli/Galatina. Once passed the tunnel, take the Monteroni exit and follow the directions towards Ecotekne/ Università.

 

From Lecce, by bus

The University campus Ecotekne is connected to Lecce by the busses 27 and 27 express (every 20’, tickets available at newsagents, tobacco shops, and often on the bus), which stops close the old town (Porta Napoli), the City Terminal, and the Railway Station.
